Rev. Cathy Towle’s private practice Intuitive Earth offer services to women who want to transform fear, loss, stress and fatigue into vibrance, strength and love. Her mission is to guide, educate and empower women to live a truly inspiring and passionate life by focusing on intuition, holistic health, spirit and nature.

Rev. Cathy uses coaching, shamanic healing, her psychic talents and spiritual experience to give real support for our life journeys and a connection to the unseen world around us. Her hope is that we can use the wisdom available to us from our intuition and from angelic forces to better face the opportunities for change that our life is providing us. Instead of something we question and second guess, we begin to recognize that our intuition is always there to help and support us. And we better equip ourselves to take the risk to live an authentic life that fills us with joy.

A life of awakening intuition
Cathy got a first glimpse of her meduimistic and intuitive abilities at the age of 19 while she was in college. Balancing school with waitressing, Cathy jokingly asked her para-psychology professor, a prominent paranormal investigator, if she could read his palm instead of taking her final exam. He took her up on it, and they were both astounded at her accuracy and ability. He was impressed, and she was pretty puzzled, and didn’t have to take that exam.

Cathy has studied with many spiritual teachers and healers in order to make sense of her abilities. Recognizing that education is an ongoing project, she continues to incorporate many traditions to grow as an effective and compassionate coach, medium and healer. She has studied other traditions extensively – Hinduism, Buddhism, Wicca/Earth Based Religions, Tarot, Astrology, and Shamanistic traditions, relating these to her Christian roots. She has appeared on radio, on the web, and on TV as a guest medium and has addressed many groups about sacred activism, spirit and energy healing. Her dedication to research and education, a solid foundation in spiritual practice, interfaith ministry, and the wisdom of spirit creates a vast tapestry of resources to draw from.

Cathy was ordained as an Interfatith Minister, by One Spirit Interfaith Seminary. She was certified as a Medium by the Forever Family Foundation Certificate Program in 2006. She has been a Reiki Seichem Master in the Tera Mai Tradition of Kathleen Milner since 1994 and became a Tera Mai Seichem Master in 2008. She has also conducted Mediumship afterlife tests and experiments with the University of Virginia. She is a life coach through the Coaching U Core Essentials Program, and currently is working extensively in the Medicine Woman Tradition with different teachers.

After the events of September 11, Cathy left her work as a design and marketing executive to contribute her talents for the practical as well as spiritual, to address world problems. As Co-Director of The Center for Integrative Wellness in New York City in 2006/7, she designed a program to teach health care professionals about complimentary alternative medicine (CAM) therapies and the connection between mind, body, spirit and community. In her work with with noted author and mystic Andrew Harvey, she was Executive Director of The Institute for Sacred Activism, working to support the survival of the planet through our own awakening and action in the world. She has worked with groups at United Nations and other spiritual organizations. Now working in her own practice as a business and life coach and intuitive, Cathy is expanding the idea of the unseen and the use of energy healing by empowering her clients and students to work with their own energies to heal and grow. Her Sacred Activism Coaching Program is based on the ideas of Sacred Activism and is tailored to individuals emergence as passionate activists.

Cathy is working on a book about her experiences with Sacred Activism, and another book about Spiritual Leadership, as well as contributing to the Anthology – Living Now: Mending Our Place in the Natural World, which will be published in 2010.

Cathy’s clientelle have ranged from advertising executives to musicians, writers to real estate developers. She has consulted with many celebrities, artists and performers such as Andrew Harvey, Patricia O’Neil, Meredith Monk, and Tessa Dahl.
